Responsive Sites FAQ

How does the custom domain work with a responsive site, and do I need to use the redirect script?

For a responsive site you would typically set up a full domain (e.g. mycompany.com). For instructions on how to configure your custom domain, on the site dashboard click on the Custom Domain link.No mobile redirect code is needed for responsive sites, as the responsive site is one single site (on one URL) that works for all screen sizes.

How do I line up multiple elements vertically or horizontally?

When you add multiple elements in the same container or row, by default their vertical alignment is set to “top” and their horizontal alignment is set to “center”. To change that, click on the Style link for the parent container or row, and change the value for “Alignment of inside elements” or “Vertical alignment of inside elements”.
For example, you may have a tall piece of text and a video displayed next to each other, both vertically aligned to the top. For a more balanced look, you may want to change their vertical alignment to “middle”.

When I add widgets to responsive pages, they don’t take up the full width of the screen or parent container. How can I change that?

When you add a widget to a responsive page, by default the widget takes up 80% of the width (for large screens). To change that, click on the Style icon next to the widget and under the “Large screen” tab change the width to 100%.
